The Eucharist - October 18, 2023

Draw Near comes closer to the conclusion of the book study on "I Believe in Love." This week, Fred and Kara's discussion centers on the "Source and Summit" of our faith: the Eucharist. They reflect on Fr d'Elbee's words, "Give Him the joy of descending upon your heart, which is a heaven for Him!"

God desires not only we encounter Him in the Eucharist, but He desires to encounter us! Not only does He dwell in us, but in the Eucharist, Christ becomes one with us! What are the implications of this profound mystery? How should it shape the way we live our lives? How we prepare our hearts for Mass? What does it reveal about God's great love for us?
