Missionary Image of Our Lady of Guadalupe

Siouxland Catholic Radio, in collaboration with the Immaculate Conception Parish of Cherokee, has the privilege of hosting and displaying the Missionary Image of Our Lady of Guadalupe Wednesday, May 24, from 1:30 - 5 p.m. at the station, located in the historic St. Boniface Rectory, 701 West 5th Street, Sioux City, Iowa.

This Missionary Image is a 4’ by 6’ actual replica of the original, miraculous Tilma (cloak) of Blessed Juan Diego. There are only four such images in the world and Pope Saint John Paul II stated in one of his homilies, “Now Our Lady accompanies each one of her daughters and sons with her motherly presence. I ask her to ‘visit’ as a ‘pilgrim of faith’ - each and every diocese, parish and family in America.”

Pope Saint John Paul II prayed for conversions, a Culture of Life, and Civilization of Love. He wants us to pray for an end to abortions and for the conversion of millions of hearts to Jesus. Those who venerate this image are known to be charged with the energy of faith. Dan Lynch’s website tells us, “There have been thousands of Masses, Confessions, hours of Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and Rosaries in the present of the Images. Many conversions, healings, reconciliations, and graces are reported. Many abortions have been prevented and over twenty abortion centers have been closed through Our Lady’s intercession by her Missionary Images after Visitations to them.”

The mission of Siouxland Catholic Radio and Immaculate Conception is to bring individuals closer to Christ and an end to abortion.

The community is invited to venerate the Image and pray for their needs, for conversions, and for an end to abortions.

In addition, Siouxland Catholic Radio will also have on display the Eucharistic Miracle Banner of Our Lady of Guadalupe.
