Siouxland Catholic Radio is excited to announce Marian chalk artist, Maria Loh, from Fargo, North Dakota, will return for ArtSplash 2022 on Saturday, September 3, presented by the Sioux City Art Center.
Maria made a “splash” during Siouxland Catholic Radio’s First Ever Youth Art Festival this April with her extraordinary chalk art of "Madonna of the Streets" on the station’s sidewalk, as well as her visits to five Sioux City and South Sioux City schools.
Maria said, “Art connects us all. ArtSplash provides me another opportunity to return to Siouxland and engage a larger pool of individuals – from art aficionados to artists.”
Maria’s return is made possible by a grant from the Gilchrist Foundation, which brought her to Sioux City in April for Siouxland Catholic Radio’s First Ever Youth Art Festival.
